"The other face of AC Milan" is a tribute to all the AC Milan fans of the world, but also a "means" for doing good: the proceeds from the book’s sales will be donated to the Fondazione Milan's social projects. In the first part, introduced by the preface by Fondazione Milan, 36 supporters representing as many as 20 countries tell their personal milanist stories, revealing the lesser known (but more authentic) face of AC Milan. They go from Ronald, Indonesian, who called his daughter "Nesta" to Steve from Malta who set up a museum in his home with rare milanista memorabilia; from Antonio, Italian, who holds the world record of admissions to the Casa Milan museum to Ricardo, Brazilian, who wears a red and black uniform to participate in the South American table football championships; from the other Italian Giovanni who transforms the AC Milan champions into beautiful plaster statues to the Luxembourger Gianni, the number one fan in the world of Gianni Rivera. And again: the tales of Luigi and Colombo, exceptional milanologists; of Danilo, the man who flies the "6 Baresi" flag in the Curva Sud; of the authors of the "Marco Nico" banner that has been camping in San Siro for a lifetime. The moving letter of Alex and Enzo addressed to his father, AC Milan fan, who died for the coronavirus. The exciting stories collected in the United States, Argentina, Chile, Lebanon, Malaysia, Australia and France, where Cristiano, head of health services at Paris Saint-Germain, "confessed" his sympathy for AC Milan and talked about friendship with Thiago Silva, up to interviews with Peter Linde, the sculptor who made the statue (later vandalized) of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, in Sweden, and the Kamp Seedorf, a collective of Dutch street artists who, in the name of the ex number 10 rossonero, color the suburbs of the big cities with semi-permanent murals dedicated to the most eccentric characters in the history of football. Follow the images of some of the warmest AC Milan clubs in the world, including those of Buenos Aires, Kosovo, Georgia, Morocco, India and Hong Kong. They introduce the second part, in which there are stories of really passionate women fans. Stands out the exclusive interview, full of milanism, of the AC Milan women's captain and striker of the Italian national team, Valentina Giacinti. Between the second and the third part there are the “special contents” with a tribute to the Nordic players who played for AC Milan and seven wonderful graphics that celebrate the red and black teams that have won the Coppa dei Campioni. The third and last part is a jubilation of milanism, with interviews with the journalist Luca Serafini, with the players who arrived in the first team from the youth sector, such as Daino, Saudati, Marzorati and Perticone, and Harvey Esajas, Seedorf’s friend, who managed to play a few minutes with AC Milan at the end of a moving spiritual and sport rebirth. Afterwards, the interview with Filippo Galli and the story of the meeting with Paolo Maldini. In conclusion, the grand finale with the exclusive interview with the expression of the most authentic milanism: Franco Baresi. All accompanied by 400 photos, many of them exclusive, which make this rossoneri story even more exciting. Read more
